I. KINGDOM CONCERN

A. CUBAO REFORMED BAPTIST CHURCH | Pas. Mon Macapagal, Pas. Ismael Montejo, Pas. Joseph Mangahas

News and thanksgiving

  1.  We thank the Lord for allowing us to gather in person. May the Lord continue to allow us to enjoy gathering together every Lord’s Day.
  2. We are also thankful for adding 4 members to our membership last month. Praise God.
  3. We praise God that although there were about 40 that contracted covid last month, no one got a moderate and severe case and no one was hospitalized.
  4. We are thankful for the relief work done in Roxas, Palawan affected by typhoon Odette. Brother Louie Lim was the director of this relief work. It was really difficult for him since his supposed two companions were infected with covid. He has to do it alone but God enabled him to repack and distribute 2,400 relief goods.
  5. We also thank God for the opening of classes of GMA after two postponements in January.
  6. One of our outreaches located in Montalban, Rizal was covenanted last month. This group was formerly an outreach of Victory Church but has become reformed. Praise God for this blessing.
  7. An outreach of CREC in Maricaban, Pasay was also covenanted as Reformed Baptist Church last week. There were thirteen covenanting members. Praise God.

 Petitions

  1. We have canceled the annual pastors’ conference in February but have scheduled a reformation conference on June 24-25 with the same speakers: Pastor Noel Espinosa, Pastor Robert Ventura, and Dr. Ian Densham. This conference is via live streaming and is open for all.
  2. We are planning to have an in-person prayer meeting this March. We missed it after almost two years of the pandemic. May the Lord’s blessing be upon us.
  3. Pastor Joseph will go through surgery on March 15. Please pray for a successful operation and fast healing. We thank those who contributed to his medical expenses.
  4. One of our members had breast surgery due to stage 2 cancer. She is now home and recuperating. Please pray that the surgery was successful and that cancer cells have been taken out.
  5. The wife of our member had preeclampsia and had a caesarian operation. The baby was only 28 weeks and had to be put on an inhaler because there was no incubator available. Please pray for the wife. Her lungs, kidney, and throat are inflamed and on a ventilator. Pray for healing.
  6. We badly need social workers for Christian Compassion Ministries. If you know of someone, even a new graduate, please contact us.

B. FIRST REFORMED BAPTIST CHURCH OF VALENZUELA | Pas. Aries Liboro

News and Thanksgiving

  1. We praise God for the wonderful short church retreat we had. It was a good time of rest, fellowship, and study of God’s word. We were all greatly blessed.
  2. I am greatly encouraged to see many of the younger members get involved in the church’s ministry. We praise God for this. Please do pray for their continued spiritual growth.

Please pray for the following concerns

  1. We have now resumed our children’s Sunday school, the Saturday Bible Study for the young people who live near the church building, and also the Friday Bible study outside our house for the young people there. Please pray that more and more young people will attend. Please pray for their conversion.
  2. There are a couple of young adults who join our Friday Bible studies. Please pray for their conversion.
  3. We just had a church retreat, one of the member’s sisters [Charm] and their neighbor [Kate] attended. Please pray that they will meditate upon the message they heard. They have school on Sundays but did say that once that is finished they will attend the church services.
  4. We have several new visitors in the church, which is very encouraging. Please do pray that they will continue to attend the church services and consider church membership.
  5. We have five young people who have been attending the youth program for many years, some three of them are now in their twenties. We long to see them profess faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Please do pray for their conversion.
  6. Please pray for the conversion of the members’ own children and other relatives who attend the church services.
  7. Please pray for the members’ zeal in personal evangelizing, witnessing, and inviting friends to the church services.
