MCBC PRAYER ITEMS – 06/03/21

James 4:8 “Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded.”

I. KINGDOM CONCERN 

A. Grace Community Bible Church, Digos City – Pas. Jepson Pon

1. Thanksgiving

● God has continually ministered to His word Sunday after Sunday. Thanks be to God amidst pandemic. May the Lord God be honored in any situation.

2. Ministry of the Word

  • Pray for the Sunday ministries – SS (TULIP), AM (new series on the book of Romans. Pray for guidance and wisdom), Vesper (topical sermons)
  • Pray for the youth Bible study and group Bible study (Lim family and Bello family)
  • This coming Sunday sa panambahan namin thru Google meet kami because of disinfection sa pampoblikong lugar sa ciudad, may “NO MOVING POLICY” announcement from LGU.

3. Personal concerns

  • Salvation my sons Joshua and Kent David.
  • Si Baby and Dave may lagnat at ubo and sipon. Pray for healing at normal lang din na fever. Salin narin ang aking condition lalo na sa throat naway ok lang maramdaman ko ilang buwan na rin medyo masakit.
  • Pagpray din ng able men para sa katuwang in preaching and teaching ministry.

B. Bagumbong Community Christian Fellowship, Caloocan City – Bro. George Santonia

Thanksgiving

  1. Salamat sa sustaining grace ng Panginoon sa lahat ng attenders sa fellowship, nakakapagpatuloy sila sa paglilingkod sa Panginoon sa kabila ng mga pagsubok na kinakaharap dahil sa pandemic. Marami naapektuhan ang negosyo at mga trabaho, lumiit ang mga kita at suweldo minsan kahit pamasahe hirap. Pero andoon ang hangarin makapagpatuloy sa paglilingkod sa Diyos.
  2. Salamat sa Panginoon sa malayang nakapagsamba sa bahay-sambahan every Lord’s day. Whole day kami sa fellowship. Every Saturday 9am, children’s ministry patuloy pa rin. Salamat sa Panginoon at sa mga prayers ninyo.

Prayer requests

  1. Salvation: unsaved worship and home BS attendees (Agustin family Lito, Nelly and kids plus kapit-bahay, ate Lorna), Youth BS attendees, and Kids BS attendees
  2. More open doors for BS
  3. Numerical and spiritual growth
  4. Financial provision sa ministry church building para di na mag-upa.
  5. Tulong ng Panginoon kay TJ sa pagtuturo sa SS at youth BS at kay Rose sa pagtuturo sa kids BS. Sa akin sa preaching at home BS.
  6. Maayos na hanap buhay ng mga brethren.

C. Alijis Reformed Baptist Fellowship, Bacolod City – Bro. Armando Rutor

Thanksgiving

  1. Thank God dahil sa pag-sustain ng Lord sa akin at sa aking buong pamamahay. At kung kaya’t nagpapatuloy parin kami sa gawain na Kanyang pinagkaluob sa amin dito sa Bacolod.
  2. Salamat sa ating Dios na Siyang nagpapadala at nagbibigay ng mga kaluluwa’ng willing umupo at makinig sa aming pangangaral ng salita ng Dios kahit na sa gitna nitong hindi favorable na sircumstansya. Bagamat ganon, may pinapadala ang Dios bawat linggo para sambahin Siya at purihin ang Kanyang dakilang pangalan.

Prayer requests

  1. Magkaroon na ng bunga ng kaligtasan ang lahat ng labors natin dito sa Bacolod.
  2. Dagdag kasipagan pa at kalakasan pa sa aking pangunguna sa aking pamilya at sa gawain.
  3. Needs of our fellowship. As of now we are praying na sana at kung ito’y kaluoban ng Lord na mag provide ng separate, (kahit within the area lang) fellowship center. Na-sense ko kasi na medyo hesiatant na ang iba sumali o pumasok sa compound na kung saan kami ay nagtitipon. Sa kadahilanan na ang aming tinitipunan ay isang pribadong pamamahay.
  4. Mga kalalakihan namin (tatay) na nawalan ng trabaho. Sana mag-provide ang Lord ng kanilang mapagkitaan dahil apektado narin po ang kanilang pamilya at ang kanilang pagdalo sa aming mga panambahan. Mminsan hindi na makadalo sa kadahilanan na naghahanap pa ng maipakain sa pamilya.
  5. Protection mula sa banta ng covid19 at variants nito. Ako, ang aking pamilya at ang lahat na bumabahagi sa gawain dito Bacolod.

D. Gensan Community Bible Fellowship, General Santos City – Bro. Mario Betangcol

Thanksgiving

  1. Ang pag-iingat at pag-sustain ng Dios sa amin sa araw araw.
  2. Nagpapasalamat din po kami sa presensya ng Dios sa bawat pagtitipon namin bagamat sampo lang ka tao ang pinapahintulutan na mag tipon at ang iba sa live streaming nalang nakikinig.
  3. Pasalamat din po na natugunan ang aming financial na pangangailangan para sa bubong na aming tinitirahan ngayon dahil napunit na po yong trapal na ginawa po naming bubong. Luma na po kasi yong trapal, sa Naval pa po dati.
  4. Salamat sa Panginoon nakakatulong na rin po si Ronnie sa amin ni Dexter sa mga pagtuturo sa mga BS at Lord’s day. Pray lang din po na sana ay tagpuin ang pangangailangan nilang financial dahil simula po noong umalis sila sa church niya dati ay wala na po siyang support na natatangap, at may karamdaman din po siya na Diabetes.

Prayer requests

  1. Sana makabalik na po kami sa dating pagtitipon at protection ng Dios sa mga kapatiran mula sa sakit at virus, lalong lalo na sa virus ng kasalanan.
  2. Pagpalain nawa ng Dios ang bawat isang kapatiran lalong lalo na po doon sa mga nag-commit ng pledges para po sa itatayong building para makapagbigay po sila at ng maitayo na po namin ang building na mapagtitipunan namin, meron na po kaming kahoy na naipa-slice pero hinihintay po namin yong karagdagang budget para po magamit namin.
  3. Sana patuloy na magligtas ang Dios sa aming regular na umaatend sa mga BS at Lord’s day. Sana ay makadaan kami sa mga check point para sa mga BS namin dahil may tatlong area po ng BS po kami na kailangang dumaan sa border checkpoint at ang tatlong BS na ito ay mga sabik makinig ng salita. Ang mga area: Upper London, Bawing (pamilya ni Bro. Nanding na may karamdaman); Glamang, Polomolok; at Cannery, Polomolok. Di kami makadaan sa mga area na ito sa ngayon dahil po sa mahigpit ang check point at hinahanapan po kaming tatlo ni Dexter, Ronnie ng mga ID sa pagiging pastor o missionary.

II. CHURCH CONCERNS

1. Preachings

  • In our Sunday School, we discussed election as part of God’s decree. May we handle the doctrine with prudence and care. May we not fall into carnal curiosity. May it humble us and lead to greater praise, reverence, and admiration of God.  
  • In our first service, we saw Paul’s thanksgiving to God for the Thessalonian church. May we thank God for His work of grace in our church. May we be a church that is also known for its work of faith, labor of love, and perseverance of hope in Christ to the glory of God. 
  • In our second service, we saw David’s prayer to be blameless. May we also desire and pray to be blameless in this present evil world. May we continue to devote ourselves to God’s word, which is necessary to righteous living. 

2. Services. Let us pray that God would give us delight in sanctifying His day whether we are at home or at church. May we remove any distraction that will hinder our worship of God. Let us continue to pray for His presence in our gatherings. Let us pray for those who will be teaching and preaching this Sunday. May God grant wisdom in their preparation and power in delivering God’s word. 

  • Bro. Simon will teach in Sunday School. 
  • Pas. Clyde will preach in the first service.
  • Pas. Mike will preach in the second service.

3. Other ministries. Letus thank the Lord for the Bible studies that were held last week: Trafalgar BS, Senior Moments, Children’s SS, Youth BS, Singles’ BS, and Tuesday BS. Let us continue to pray for our online ministries.

  • Friday and Saturday – Pas. Rolly (Evangelistic Bible study – Trafalgar and Chris Lopez)
  • Sunday – Bro. Josiah (Level 1), Sis. Rosanna (Level 2), Sis. Acel (Level 3)
  • Tuesday – Pas. Clyde (Fellowship Bible study)

4. RBIPT.  Let us pray for the RBIPT class that will resume this Saturday. May God give wisdom to Pas. Dave as he teaches chapter 9 of the Confession of Faith. May the students continue to learn as they attend the online lectures. 

ANNOUNCEMENTS

  1. Groups 1, 3, and 4 will be allowed to attend the services at church this Sunday.
  2. Medical frontliners will be allowed to attend the physical gatherings at their own discretion, ensuring that they are not health risks to others.

III. PERSONAL CONCERNS

1. ThanksgivingLet us give thanks to God for His continued preservation amid the pandemic. He has granted us life and strength. He has provided for all our needs. May we continue to praise the Lord for His mercies.

2. Birthday

  • Acel (June 1) – Thanksgiving and Prayer Requests: a) Thanks be to God For how He has preserved the vulnerable members of the family from the pandemic (aging parents, frontliners, those who go to their respective offices for work, etc).  May the Lord continue to grant protection for us. b) Thanks be to God, for how He has continued to grant me the strength/stability in health to continue to perform my duties and be able to participate in church ministries.  May the Lord continue to grant me strength/stability in health. c) Thanks be to God, for how He continues to provide for needed resources for our business.  May the Lord continue to provide needed resources.  May the Lord grant us much needed help so we can close our first project this June. d) Thanks be to God for sustaining my faith and may I continue to grow in the grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
  • Harvey (June 1) – Prayer ko na sana dagdagan pa faith ko and good health, and change me into the likeness of Christ.
  • Martin (June 3) – Thanksgiving for completion of term 2 in my first year of college and for the Lord’s continuous preservation physically and spiritually. Prayer requests: Grow in grace and wisdom of our Lord Jesus Christ, mortification of sins, and protection of our family from the pandemic

3. Frontliners. Let us continue to pray for perseverance for our health workers (see list). May the Lord keep them from getting sick and heal those who are already ill. 

4.  Sick

  • Let us continue to pray for our sick brethren: Pas. Alex, Annie, Acel, Brenda, Liza A, Johnny, Louie, Mel, Chippy, Delia, Tina, Edna, Taps, Pas. Rene, Pas. Lester, Renz, etc.
  • Let us pray for our friends and loved ones who are sick: Pong, Conrad, Jun, Ludel, Randy, Neal, Lola Soledad, Amy, Marlyn, Bobot, Maria, Mayet, Mr. and Mrs. Abagon, Melinda, Gley, Mommy Ferrer, etc.

5. Pregnancy. Let us pray for a safe pregnancy for Tin and KC. 

6. Employment.  Let us continue to pray for the unemployed that God would provide a job for them. Let us also pray that God would give wisdom to entrepreneurs to maintain their businesses. Let us pray for those who go to their workplaces that God would keep them from the infection. 

7. Nation. Let us thank the Lord for the slight improvement in the number of cases that are being infected. May He continue to curb the spread of infection. Let us pray for wisdom and unity for our leaders as they manage the concerns of our country. Let us also pray for the people’s cooperation with the government. May the Lord also continue to use His churches to proclaim the gospel so that people will find hope in Christ during this difficult time.
