II. CHURCH CONCERNS

1. Preachings

  • In our Sunday School, we considered the implementation and the challenges of family worship. Let us pray for the men to be faithful in their duty to lead their families in worship. May the families overcome the difficulties in starting and sustaining family worship.
  • In our first service, we saw the curse on Adam and Eve because of their disobedience. May we be amazed at God’s mercy in judgment. May we be faithful in our respective callings even if pain and difficulty are involved. May we also be hopeful in the ultimate reversal of the curse because of Christ’s triumph.
  • In our second service, we saw the psalmist’s zeal for God’s presence and worship. May we repent of coldness and indifference in worship. May we pray for more zeal in worship not only during Sundays but in our everyday living.
