8. Nation

May God show mercy in restraining the virus from further spreading, that primarily, the complete gathering of His people for worship would once again take place. May He grant wisdom to our leaders in managing this and other crises that our country is facing. Let us pray for the salvation of sinners amid these crises.

III. CHURCH CONCERNS

1. Preachings

In our Sunday School, we were reminded of the fear of the Lord. To truly revere and honor Him in worship is the source of true knowledge. Let us pay heed lest we become fools.

In our first service, we continued with our Sermon On The Mount series. We were reminded and exhorted not to worry. We must labor then, by the grace of God, not to be overtaken by worry especially in these difficult and trying times. Instead, we are to overcome them with great faith.

In our second service, we were instructed that in order to run the race with endurance, we must fix our eyes upon Jesus, the Author and Perfector of our faith, being the supreme overcomer of the faith, enduring the cross and receiving glory. We are to behold Him then as He has revealed Himself and His glory in His word.

2. Services

Pas Clyde will teach/preach both in Sunday School and 2nd service, while Pas. Rolly will preach in the 1st service May God grant them wisdom in their preparation. May He use them mightily in the preaching of His Word.

Let us pray for a good transmission of these streamed services, that there will be no technical issues during our services. May God grant us continuous delight and eagerness to worship Him whether at church or in our homes.

3. Online Bible Studies

Let us thank the Lord for the online Bible studies held last week. Let us pray for Pas. Rolly, Pas. Clyde, Bro. Simon, and Pas Mike as they teach in Bible Studies every week. This Sunday, Sis. Elaine, Sis. Mano, and Sis. Acel will teach in the Children’s Sunday School.

4. Discipline case

Let us continue to pray for our sister that she would not persist in her sin and suffer its consequences. May God grant repentance that she may come to her senses and return to the Lord.
