Psalm 36:10-12  10 O continue Your lovingkindness to those who know You, And Your righteousness to the upright in heart.  11 Let not the foot of pride come upon me, And let not the hand of the wicked drive me away.  12 There the doers of iniquity have fallen; They have been thrust down and cannot rise.

1. Preaching

  • In our Sunday School, we concluded our study of Chapter 2 of the 1689 LBC – Of God and the Holy Trinity. We looked at the glorious yet mysterious truth of the 3 Persons of the one true and living God. May this truth continue to humble and encourage us to worship and serve God for there is none like Him. May these truths also help and comfort us as we continue to live the life of Faith in dependence and holiness.
  • In our first service, we were reminded of in Psalm 90 to plead the Lord to teach us to number our days, that we may make wise use of the days of our lives, whether in our relationships, vocation, even our enjoyment. We were also reminded to thank and praise God for the eternal life we have in Christ that though life here is brief and temporal, the life that awaits us glorious and eternal.
  • In our Second Service, we looked at the identity of the church in Paul’s greeting to the Thessalonian Church.  We were challenged to thank and praise Him for the blessed union we have in Christ, and therefore live out our calling as God’s called-out ones with depend upon His abiding and sufficient sustenance.

2. Services. Let us pray for help in sanctifying and delighting in the Lord’s day. May we profit from His Word that we may apply it in our daily lives. Let us pray then for wisdom for those who will bring God’s Word of to us this Sunday.
