1.  Last Sunday: (1) SS-We saw what it was to fear the Lord in His presence, name, worship and service. May we cultivate that filial fear of God that recognizes His greatness, walks in holiness, reveres His name and worships and serves with reverence. (2) 1S-We saw the commendation of Jesus of the centurion’s faith. May we have a measure of such faith that overcomes obstacles, manifests unusual kindness, is outstandingly humble and unflinching in its belief of Jesus’ power. (3) 2S-We saw that the proper motivation in Christian service is not self–personal ambition, money, merit or unrepented sin but God–His worthiness, privilege, love, stewardship and reward. May we all examine our motives and be found blameless with respect to the reason why we serve God.

2.  New Deacon. Let us also thank Jesus for His gift of a new deacon to the church, in the person of Bro. Edwin, bringing the number of our deacons to seven. May this addition to the diaconate result in greater labors for Christ and greater fruit for His kingdom.

3.  This Sunday: Deacon Mario will take SS; Pas Rolly will take 1S; Pas Mike will take 2S. Pray for God’s help in preparations and preaching; pray for His presence in our worship; pray for the edification of the saints and salvation for the unconverted; pray for the protection of each one from infection.
