Psalm 145:1-10

I. KINGDOM CONCERNS

Emmanuel Baptist Church (Coconut Creek, Florida)

31st Annual Men’s Conference (January 14-16)

Conforming to the Emotional Life of Christ

Speaker: Pastor Jeff Johnson

Reformed Baptist Church of Louisville (Kentucky)

Pas. Jim Savastio

Greetings in the Lord Jesus!

I trust the Lord has sustained you this past year and that he will grant a year full of his nearness and blessing upon your labors.

Some of you will be aware that I was privileged to be granted a two-month sabbatical in 2021 (mid-September to mid-November).  My wife and I spent the bulk of that time near Seattle with the brethren of Emmanuel RBC in SeaTac, WA.

This church has been without a full-time preaching pastor for seven years. The church has not only been sustained during this time but in many ways has thrived. There are two fine lay elders in the assembly and three men who serve as deacons.

I have, with the blessing of my elders here, committed myself to helping them to find a man to labor in the Word.  Would you pray that the Lord would bless these efforts and that he would provide a man after his own heart for these dear people?

I am also writing to see if this news may stir your hearts and minds in regard to a suitable candidate.  You may be aware of qualified men who are currently not pastoring but desire to do so. I also realize that there may be a church with a plurality of elders who may have among them a man who desires to preach and teach far more than his current situation allows. If you know of such men would you please contact me?

The Lord bless and keep you,

Puritan Reformed Baptist Church (Lumban, Laguna)
